Also known as Jam, they are a visual artist from the Phoenix Metro Area. They graduated from Arizona State University in 2019 with a BFA in Ceramics. While completing their post-baccalaureate program at Kansas State University they exhibited their work in shows in Kansas and Arizona. Unconventional glazes and sandblasted surfaces allude to the deconstruction of the norm in order to make way for reform. The artist works in multi-media in order to respond intuitively to a question presented. A broad theme of their work is the inspection of global policing of body politics and the connection it shares with Neocolonialism. On a personal level, they explore ideas of communal interdependency and impermanent family systems.
